Meet Megan Hittle
Who Am I?
My name is Megan Hittle. I have an incredible chef for a husband, a son who is an actor, and an amazing make-up artist for a daughter. Our life is full of adventure and new beginnings every chance we get!
Why I Became a Health Coach
My children have food allergies and I as well have developed them after having my children. We started cooking without using food; as my husband says. Avoiding dairy, gluten, soy, artificial dye, peanuts, eggs, celery, bananas, and green bell peppers. It was amazingly eye opening. From sleeping habits to general behavior; it changed our lives.
People started asking us for advice on how we made changes and can we help them. After helping a close friend at the end of 2010; I googled food coach. I found that being a Health Coach was a real job and I could go to school and get certified. I knew right then that this was my calling. I started school in March of 2011 and have not stopped helping others and ourselves since. I also volunteer my time as a Food Revolution ambassador with the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution team as well as the Long Beach Alliance for Food and Fitness.
